CHAMPAIGN – In order to perform routine storm sewer maintenance activities, Visu-Sewer Construction, Inc. will be closing short sections of the west side of southbound traffic on South Neil Street from Hessel Boulevard to Kirby Avenue. This single-lane closure will be in affect from Wednesday, August 25, to Friday, August 27, 2021. Traffic in this area will be merged into the east southbound lane for short lengths.
Work is planned to begin at 7 a.m. and end by 4 p.m. from August 25 through August 27. Minor traffic delays may occur. This work is weather dependent and may be delayed in the event of inclement weather.
