Parking Lot to be Temporarily Closed for Lovin’ U Block Party
In order to host the City’s Downtown Lovin’ U Tour stop, parts of the parking lot at the intersection of Neil Street and Washington Street will be temporarily closed on Thursday, August 19, 2021, between 7:00 a.m. and midnight. The southern portion of the parking lot (south of Hill Street) and eastern portion (east of the large island) will remain available until 5:00 p.m. to allow for limited parking for surrounding businesses. Vehicles can park at the white bagged meters. Vehicles remaining in the lot after 5:00 p.m. will be subject to towing at the owner’s expense. The northwest portion of the lot will be closed for the entire day for loading/unloading activities, along with the Neil Street entrance. Additional parking will be available at the City parking lot on Washington Street, just west of Fremont Street. Additional parking is also available in the Hill Street Parking Deck at 123 W. Hill St. The parking lot will reopen immediately following the cleanup activities from the Lovin’ U event. The City appreciates the cooperation of travelers in the area.
