The newly established Edwin Watchout Group hosted its first all call neighborhood meeting on Saturday, October 10, 2020, taking advantage of the use of the NSD Zoom account to host virtual meetings, a benefit offered to all registered neighborhood groups. The Edwin Watchout Group’s primary concern is speeding in the area. Officer Leslie Kerr was in attendance to provide an update on calls for service in the area to the neighbors, and she offered several useful tips to help eliminate speeding throughout the neighborhood. The group determined a need to extend their geographic boundaries, increasing from 101 households to 203 households! They will host their next virtual meeting on Saturday, October 24, 2020, with an agenda that includes a meet and greet so the group get to know their neighbors, determine goals, and share additional concerns to address going forward.
