Champaign Police Investigating Shooting

On Feb. 2, 2020, at approximately 2:23 a.m., Champaign Police responded to the 1500 block of Hedge Road after reports of gunfire in the area. Upon arrival, no victim was located, but at approximately 2:56 a.m., police were alerted a 25-year-old female arrived at a local hospital with a single, non-life-threatening gunshot wound.

The investigation is ongoing, and no arrests have been made at this time. Future updates may be provided as they become available.
