As the governing body of the City, the City Council sets the vision for the City and adopts goals to guide decision-making at all levels of City government. The goal setting process helps Council build consensus on policy priorities that impact residents, businesses, and the community. On October 7 and 8, 2019, the Council met to work on establishing their goals for 2019-2021. Facilitator Domonic Cobb help engage the Council in constructive and engaging discussions. The City Council will meet later this fall to further refine their vision and goals. Staff anticipates Council could adopt finalized goals prior to the end of the calendar year.
