Champaign Police Investigating Shooting

On September 9, 2019, at approximately 10:14 P.M., Champaign Police were called to the 1500 block of Holly Hill Drive after receiving a report of gunshots being heard. Upon arrival, police located evidence of gunfire and the preliminary investigation revealed that multiple rounds had been fired into a residence resulting in property damage. Although the residence was occupied at the time of the incident, no injuries were reported.

Champaign Police ask that anyone with information about this incident to contact the authorities. There is currently no available suspect information and no arrests have been made at this time. If any resident or business in the nearby area has exterior surveillance camera systems, please contact the police department. It is believed video footage may be of investigative assistance.
