The Champaign Fire and Police Departments will have their annual 9/11 Memorial Ceremony on Wednesday, September 11th at 8:46 a.m. The Memorial Ceremony will take place at the northeast corner of West Side Park, 400 E University Avenue, at the Champaign Fire and Police Memorial.
The Memorial Ceremony will have remarks from Mayor Deborah Frank Feinen, Fire Chief Gary Ludwig, Fire Lieutenant Kevin McAndrew, and Associated Firefighters of Illinois President Pat Devaney, and will conclude with a Champaign Fire Department Bell Ceremony and Champaign Police Department Firing Detail.
