In order to host the City of Champaign’s 2019 STAR Longest Table event, Main Street between Neil Street and Walnut Street will be closed to all traffic on Monday, August 12, from 12:00 p.m. through 9:00 p.m. Fremont Street will also be blocked where it intersects at Main Street.
The road closure is weather dependent and will not occur if there is inclement weather. The STAR Longest Table event will be moved inside should the weather be unfavorable for an outdoor event.
The STAR Longest Table is a free community event that will be held on August 12 at 6:00 p.m. Registration is required and is available through August 8 at champaignil.gov/LongestTable.
