In order to repair an emergency water main break, Illinois American Water and Shaw Brothers have closed two westbound lanes of University Avenue between Fifth Street and Wright Street. The closures began on Sunday, July 28, and will reopen on Monday, August 5, 2019. Westbound traffic will be reduced to one lane and shifted to the center lane of University.
