In order to replace a hydrant, Illinois American Water will close one northbound lane of Prospect Avenue between Hessel Boulevard and Haines Boulevard. The closure will begin on Monday, May 6 and will reopen on Wednesday, May 8.
During the closure, northbound traffic will be reduced to one lane in the area. The City appreciates the cooperation of travelers in the area and encourages caution when traveling through work zones.
