On April 18, Community Relations Manager and Compliance Officer Rachel Joy gave a presentation on the Champaign Diversity Advancement Program (CDAP) to a meeting of the American Public Works Association (APWA) Illinois Chapter – Prairie Branch. The meeting was held at Farnsworth Group in Champaign. CDAP encourages City departments, contractors, and other vendors doing business with the City to increase the amount of goods and services provided by local businesses owned by minorities, women, and other socially and economically disadvantaged groups.
