Stark Excavating will be performing daily lane closures as part of Phase III of the West Washington Street Drainage Improvements Project. One lane on University Avenue at James Street, and one lane on Church Street at James Street will be closed during the day while crews are working.
The daily lane closures are planned to begin at 7 a.m. on Monday, April 15 and are planned for completion by 6 p.m. Saturday, April 20, depending on weather. Lane closures will be during daylight hours and will always allow for a minimum of one lane of through traffic.
The City appreciates the cooperation of travelers in the area and encourages caution when traveling in proximity to a work zone.
