The 2019 Annual Dr. Martin Luther King Countywide Celebration will be held on Friday, January 18, at 4:00 p.m. This event is being held at the Vineyard Church, 1500 North Lincoln Avenue, in Urbana. As always, the event is free and open to the public and will feature a presentation of awards and a keynote speaker.
Awards at the Celebration honor Champaign County individuals and organizations that have made outstanding contributions, consistent with the philosophy and mission of Dr. King in community service, humanitarian work and the promotion of equal rights. Nominations are open until 5:00 p.m. on November 9.
