Downtown Intersection and Resurfacing Improvements (UPDATED)

As part of the Downtown Intersection and Resurfacing Improvements Project, milling and paving activities began on Friday, August 17 and will continue for several days.  As the project moved around the Downtown area, no parking signs will be posted at meters.  Please proceed cautiously through construction zones and use alternative routes whenever possible.  The contractor will attempt to complete construction activities as quickly as possible to minimize inconveniences to residents, businesses, and the traveling public.

Below is the updated schedule for this work, weather dependent:

Note:  Wednesday, August 22 will be used for milling on Chester Street and/or Taylor Street if not completed on Tuesday, August 21.  While work is occurring on Walnut Street and Neil Street, one lane of traffic will remain open at all times.  While work is occurring on Chester Street, Taylor Street, and Market Street, the streets will be closed to through traffic.
