On August 13, at approximately 10:34 p.m., Champaign Police Officers responded to the Circle K gas station, located at 1713 W. John St., for a reported Armed Robbery.
According to reports, a male subject entered the location at approximately 10:30 p.m. and held the clerks at gunpoint, stealing two packs of cigarettes and an undisclosed amount of currency.
The suspect is described as a black male with a light skin complexion who appears to be in his mid-twenties. He is approximately 5’10’’ in height with a thin build. He was seen wearing a red hoodie and donned a mask that covered his face except for his eyes.
