2018 Pavement Marking Project
Varsity Striping will begin work on the 2018 Pavement Marking Project on Tuesday, May 29. The project will include both the removal of old markings and the installation of new markings on various streets within the City of Champaign. Work is expected to last through the fall and should be completed by November 1.
This work may require periodic lane shifts and closures as necessary during working hours. All streets and businesses will remain open to traffic throughout the entirety of this project. The City encourages motorists to pay close attention to construction signs and remain alert in work areas.
