In order to replace a water main, Illinois American Water and Cross Construction will close the southbound lane of Locust Street between Green Street and John Street. The lane closure will begin on Tuesday, May 15 and will reopen on Friday, June 8. The northbound lane of Locust Street will remain open during construction, but the block will be closed to southbound traffic.
