In order to repair a water main leak on First Street (adjacent to City of Champaign Police Department), Illinois American Water will be closing a southbound lane of First Street between Park Street and University Avenue. The lane closure will begin on Monday, March 12 and will reopen on Friday, March 16.
During the repair, northbound and southbound lanes will remain open as traffic will shift around the construction area. All driveways to the Champaign Police Department will remain open during the work.
