The City Manager’s Office and Public Works Department recently collaborated on new ways to promote the City’s online auctions to the public. Public Works frequently uses eBay to sell used vehicles and equipment, but was seeking a better way to promote these auctions to the public. With assistance from the Communications Division, online auction posts are now promoted via the City’s newly redesigned Bids, RFPs, & Online Auctions webpage. In addition, the public can now sign up to receive emails whenever new City online auctions are posted.
