A fire occurred at an apartment building at 611 S. State in late December 2016 and the property was boarded up by the owner. On February 6, graffiti was observed on the securing board to the main entrance to the building. Property Maintenance Inspector Kim Burnett issued a Notice to Abate to the property owner to remove the graffiti. On February 20, Burnett observed that the graffiti had been removed and closed the case.
