In order to repair a damaged water main, Illinois American Water Company will be closing a northbound lane of Prospect Avenue between John Street and Green Street. The closure will begin on Monday, February 20 and will reopen on Friday, February 24, 2017, weather permitting. Northbound traffic will be reduced to one lane in the area. A lane of eastbound and westbound traffic will be maintained on Green Street, but westbound traffic will not be allowed to make a right turn onto Prospect Avenue due to the location of the work.
