In order to repair a damaged water hydrant, Illinois American Water Company will be closing a northbound lane of State Street, just south of Kirby Avenue. The closure will begin on Tuesday, January 10, 2017, and will reopen on Friday, January 13, 2017, weather permitting. Northbound traffic will be reduced to one lane in the area.
