In partnership with the Public Works Department, the Community Relations Office held the annual Minority/Majority Contractor Luncheon on Tuesday, September 13 at the Hilton Garden Inn. A total of 65 attendees enjoyed the opportunity for lunch and networking.
The event’s program included an overview by Mayor Deborah Frank Feinen of the City’s vision for Equal Opportunity in Purchasing, a report on contracting and the incentive program from Public Works by Director Dennis Schmidt, and a panel discussion moderated by Dr. Fred Coleman of Coleman and Associates. City Council Members Clarissa Fourman and Will Kyles were also in attendance.
The Community Relations Department and Public Works Department offer their thanks to all City staff who attended and participated during the event.
