In order to perform storm sewer lining work, Hoerr Construction will close the eastbound lane of Main Street between Neil Street and Fremont Street. Eastbound traffic on Main Street will be detoured south along Neil Street then east on University Avenue then north onto Walnut Street and back to Main Street. Westbound traffic on Main Street will not be impacted by this work.
In addition to the Main Street lane closure, work crews will also occupy the center section of Church Street between Randolph Street and Neil Street while the work is taking place. Eastbound and westbound traffic along Church Street will be shifted into adjacent parking lanes through the work zone. No full lane closures are planned for this section of the work zone.
This work will take place on Monday, July 25 and Thursday, July 28, 2016, between the hours of 7 a.m. and 11 a.m. on both days. Please note that the operations are daytime only and no overnight lane closures are planned as part of this work.
