Neighborhood Code Compliance is monitoring five properties that have been awarded a ‘Notice to Proceed’ for demolition activities. The second project included the principal residence and accessory structure located at 505 West Bradley Avenue. The demolition contractor completed the work the week of March 14. This property was acquired by the Legal Department through a judicial deed process and the demolition was completed as a City-owned property. A small amount of asbestos (linoleum in the kitchen) was removed by a licensed asbestos contractor. Additional properties pending demolition action include 1319 Hedge Road, 1432 Holly Hill and 1515 Holly Hill. 511 West Beardsley Avenue was demolished during the week of March 7.
