Due to the high volume of precipitation lately, Environmental Inspector Kim Burnett has responded to several complaints of sump pumps discharging onto City sidewalks and streets. Burnett has been able to respond quickly due to below freezing temperatures. Burnett provides information to the property owner on an assistance program administered by the Public Works Department for the City’s Sump Pump Cost Share Program. Qualifying individuals can receive reimbursement up to 75%, with a maximum cost share of $5,250.
