Champaign Police Investigate Reported Shooting
On Tuesday, May 26, 2015, at approximately 5:00 PM, Champaign Police responded to Carle Hospital to investigate a shooting that occurred at an undetermined location in Champaign. The victim, a 38-year-old female, is being treated for injuries.
At this time officers are interviewing potential witnesses in an attempt to identify any suspect(s) and determine the location where the incident occurred. Champaign Police do not have any additional information, and the motive of the incident is unknown.
Police asks that anyone who may have heard or may have been witness to the circumstances surrounding this incident, to please contact the Champaign Police Department at 217-351-4545.
