In order to repair a sanitary sewer interceptor at the intersection of Neil Street and Columbia Avenue, Urbana Champaign Sanitary District and Cross Construction will be closing the following lanes:
- Northbound and southbound Neil Street traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction. Lanes will shift near the intersection of Columbia Avenue.
- Eastbound Columbia Avenue traffic will be detoured at the intersection of Neil Street. These vehicles will turn either north or south onto Neil Street.
- Westbound Columbia Avenue traffic will not be allowed to turn south onto Neil Street, but can continue straight through the intersection or turn north onto Neil Street.
These lane closures will start on Monday, November 10, 2014, and will reopen by noon on Friday, November 14, 2014.
