Narrative: Champaign Fire Department responded to a report of smoke & flames seen coming from a house at 109 Roper St. on October 31, 2014. Upon arrival, fire crews found a small amount of fire at a back window of the structure. Fire crews deployed a portable fire extinguisher to the back of the structure and were able to quickly extinguish the fire and contain it to the window area. No civilian or fire department personnel injuries were reported.
