Construction has begun on the final home located in the Taylor Thomas Subdivision. The footings and crawlspace are installed and soon the volunteer schedule will be made available. Susan Jones, Neighborhood Services Department, is coordinating with Habitat to secure a series of dates that will allow for employees to participate in the homebuilding process alongside other City employees. Neighborhood Services, Human Resources and Public Works are collaborating on this volunteering opportunity as a part of the Diversity Leadership Council initiatives.
