The Color Run 5-K will be held on Saturday, September 27, 2014. The race will start at the northeast corner of Market Place Mall, near Market Street. Road closures will start at 6:45 AM and the race will begin at 8 AM. The following streets will be closed or have limited access:
Town Center Boulevard, from Neil Street to the perimeter road leading to the mall will be closed.
Neil Street from Town Center Boulevard north to Interstate Drive will have limited access. No through traffic will be allowed, only traffic to the local apartment complexes and to Hobby Lobby will be allowed.
Interstate Drive from Neil Street to Prospect Avenue will be closed, no traffic at all will be allowed.
Anyone wishing to access the businesses along Interstate Drive will have to do so from Prospect Avenue.
Neil Street, south of Twins Drive is expected to be reopened by 10 AM, depending on clean up. Neil Street north to Interstate Drive and west to Prospect Avenue will remain closed until clean up is completed, this may take until early afternoon.
Drivers should also be cognizant of an increase in vehicle traffic in the area due to participants parking for the event.
