Green Street Sanitary Sewer Lining

In order to rehabilitate existing sewers to a like-new condition, Insituform Technologies USA will be performing night sewer linings of 918 feet of sanitary sewers located on Green Street between First Street and Third Street. Linings will begin the evening of September 11, 2014 until the morning of September 12, 2014.

Set up for the sewer lining work will begin about 10 p.m. on Thursday, September 11, 2014 and sewer lining related work is planned to continue until Friday September 12, 2014 at 10 a.m., weather permitting. This work includes traffic control setup, TV/cleaning and sewer lining. A noise ordinance waiver has been approved for work after normal working hours. Buildings served by the sewers scheduled to be lined have been notified.

Traffic will be congested in the area of Green Street from First Street to Third Street during this project. The public is encouraged to plan alternative routes to avoid this area. Traffic in the work area shall obey all construction signs.

Specific traffic restrictions follow:

The Green Street center lane between First Street and Third Street will be closed. Green Street traffic in this area will have turning restrictions, but will be able to pass by the work area.

In the intersection of First Street and Green Street, northbound traffic on First Street will be able to turn right onto Green Street only. Southbound traffic on First Street will be able to go straight or right onto Green Street, but will not be able to turn left onto Green Street.

In the intersection of Second Street and Green Street, southbound traffic on Second Street will be able to turn right onto Green Street only. (Second Street is one way).

In the intersection of Third Street and Green Street, northbound and southbound traffic on Third Street will only be able to turn right.
