As part of the City’s 2014 Concrete Street Maintenance Project, the pavement on McKinley Avenue from University Avenue to Springfield Avenue will be rehabilitated. The City’s contractor for the project, Beniach Construction, will begin work Tuesday, August 19, 2014, weather permitting.
This work involves patching of the existing concrete pavement, sidewalk repairs, construction of ADA compliant sidewalk ramps, and lawn restoration.
Please pay close attention to construction signs, traffic control devices and marked detours. Please do not park on the street near the construction site or in areas that are posted “No Parking.” Please proceed cautiously through construction zones and use alternate routes whenever possible. The contractor will attempt to complete construction activities as soon as possible to minimize any inconvenience to the residents in the areas of construction.
