This year’s slurry seal project has been completed. Microsurfacing Contractors LLC from Peoria, Illinois sealed 11.5 lane miles of oil and chip type streets in the northern one-third of the City. Eight (8) manholes were adjusted up to match the current roadway surface elevation. Minor drainage improvements were made to North Champaign Street to correct a roadway ponding problem.
