Champaign Fire Department responded to a report of a working fire at 207 E. John late Monday evening. Upon arrival, crews found smoke emitting from the from the lower level parking deck. Fire crews entered and found fire to be in the a storage room in the parking deck area of the structure. Fire crews were able to quickly extinguish the fire. No civilian or fire personnel injuries were reported. No residents were displaced.
