The Public Works Department saw a decrease in service requests submitted during the month of August. Citizens and City staff submitted 342 total requests during August 2013. The count decreased by 81 (-19%) compared to the 423 requests that were received during the month of July. The chart below tracks the number of requests recorded each day by staff.
Forty-one (12%) of the total number of service requests were submitted through SeeClickFix, a mobile phone application.
The Sewer Section receive received the most service requests at a total of 115 (34%). The Sewer Section was responsible for their normal sewer-related calls (79) and other miscellaneous requests (36). The Forestry Section received the second highest number of requests at 60 (18%). The Asphalt Section was third with 43 (12%) requests.
The most requested service was for dead animal pickup with 24 requests. The second most frequent call was requesting tree inspections with 21 requests. Sewer backup calls were third with 20 requests.
