2013 Fall Tree Planting

The Forestry Section has completed their Fall 2013 tree planting. In the month of November, they planted 104 trees throughout the City including varieties of hybrid elm, tuliptree, black maple, japanese tree lilac, bald cypress, planetree, and zelkova. In all, trees were planted in twenty-one different sections of the City with section 20 which had the most trees planted with 16.

Additionally, a number of permits were issued for contractual tree planting projects. These include Toalson Lane, 53 E. Chalmers, Einstein Bagels and Nissan on Anthony Drive, and the S. Fourth Street Extension.
