As part of the West Washington Street Drainage Improvements – Phase III Project, James Street between Church Street and University Avenue is closed; along with a portion of Washington Street (near Edwin Street); and a portion of Edwin Street (see map). These closures are expected to last until mid-May.
Additionally, Stark Excavating will be performing daily lane closures on Church Street. The daily closures are planned to begin at 7:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 9, 2019, and are planned for completion by 6:00 p.m. Saturday, March 23, 2019, depending on weather. These closures will be during daylight hours (7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.) and one lane of traffic will be maintained through the area.
The City appreciates the cooperation of travelers in the area and encourages caution when traveling in proximity to a work zone.
