In order to allow weather conditions to subside so employees can safely travel to work during the forecasted cold weather, the Champaign City Building and the Public Works facility will delay opening to the public until noon on January 31, 2019. All emergency services continue to fully operate.
Anyone choosing to travel during the bitterly cold weather should exercise caution. Those needing to go outside for any length of time should take extra precautions to protect themselves from the extreme cold.
