2018 CONCRETE STREET IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT – GREEN STREET
As part of the City’s 2018 Concrete Street Improvements Project, the pavement on Green Street from Prospect Avenue to New Street will be reconstructed. The City’s contractor for the project, Kinney Contractors, will continue work Monday, July 30, weather permitting.
Beginning Monday, July 30 at 7:00 a.m. Pine Street will be closed at the north side of intersection of Green Street. Green Street will remain open at all times. Pine Street south of Green will remain open. Pine Street will reopen Wednesday, August 1 by 9:00 am.
Please pay close attention to construction signs, traffic control devices, and marked detours. Please do not park on the street near the construction site or in areas that are posted “No Parking.” Please proceed cautiously through construction zones and use alternate routes whenever possible. The contractor will attempt to complete construction activities as soon as possible to minimize any inconvenience to the residents in the areas of construction.
