John Street Road Closure
In order to perform an emergency water main repair, Illinois American Water will temporarily close John Street between Fifth and Sixth Streets beginning Sunday, July 22. The closure is expected to last until Friday, July 27. No through traffic will be allowed, but access to businesses and buildings in this block will be maintained. The City appreciates the cooperation of travelers in the area and encourages caution when traveling through work zones.
