As part of the City’s 2018 Concrete Street Improvements Project, the pavement on Rebecca Drive from Southmoor Drive to Tamarack Drive will be reconstructed. The City’s contractor for the project, Kinney Contractors, will begin work Monday, June 11, 2018, weather permitting.
Beginning Monday, June 11 the south bound lane of Rebecca Drive between Southmoor Drive and Glenoak Drive will be closed. This section of Rebecca Drive will be one way, north bound only. This section of Rebecca Drive is planned to be completed Monday, June 18.
Due to the nature of the work it will be necessary to close driveways to complete the work. Advanced notice will be given at least 48 hours prior to closure of driveways. Residents may not have access to driveways for up to 7 days.
Please pay close attention to construction signs, traffic control devices, and marked detours. Please do not park on the street near the construction site or in areas that are posted “No Parking.” Please proceed cautiously through construction zones and use alternate routes whenever possible. The contractor will attempt to complete construction activities as soon as possible to minimize any inconvenience to the residents in the areas of construction.
