In order to repair a sinkhole in pavement, Urbana Champaign Sanitary District and DUCE Construction have closed the southbound lane of McKinley Avenue between Bloomington Road and Paula Drive. The lane closure began on Wednesday, May 30 and will reopen on Friday, June 8. During the closure northbound and southbound traffic will be reduced to one shared lane.
