Rain Barrel & Compost Bin Truckload Sale
The City of Champaign in partnership with the City of Urbana and the University of Illinois Extension are hosting a One Day Truckload Sale for those interested in purchasing rain barrels or compost bins. The sale will be 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m., Saturday, May 5 at 208 S. Vine in Urbana (just north of the Urbana City Building). For rain barrels, Champaign and Urbana residents, in single family homes, paying stormwater utility fees can apply a $25 rebate to the barrel, reducing the cost to $24. This rebate is available on the sale date, as well as online for pre-orders. Prices for compost bins are $26 for a stationary composter or $105 for a tumbling composter.
