In order to perform tree work, the Public Works Department will close both southbound lanes of Prospect Avenue between Healey Street and Green Street. This work is planned to begin at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 10 and is planned to be completed and reopened to traffic by noon.
Southbound Prospect Avenue traffic will be routed around the work zone by utilizing the western most northbound lane of Prospect Avenue. Northbound Prospect Avenue will, in turn, be reduced to one lane during the closure. The City appreciates the cooperation of travelers in the area and encourages caution when traveling through work zones.
