In order to complete storm sewer and pavement repairs, Duce Construction will close the northbound lane of State Street between Kirby Avenue and Fox Drive. This work will start on Monday, December 11 at 7:00 a.m., and is planned to be completed and reopened to traffic by noon on Tuesday, December 12. Traffic will remain open in both directions of State Street, but will share a single open lane through a short construction work zone.
This work is weather dependent and may be delayed in the event of inclement weather. The City appreciates the cooperation of travelers in the area and encourages caution when traveling through work zones.
