In order to construct a new storm sewer, Duce Construction will close one lane of John Street between Jackson Street and Teal Cove Court. Mitchell Court will also be reduced to a single lane. Traffic on John Street and Mitchell Court will both be reduced to a single, shared lane in both directions through a short work zone.
Work is planned to begin on John Street on Tuesday, August 22 at 7 a.m. and be completed and reopened to traffic by 4 p.m. Thursday, August 24. Work on Mitchell Court will begin on Wednesday, August 23 and is anticipated for completion by Wednesday, August 30.
This work is weather dependent and may be delayed in the event of inclement weather. The City appreciates the cooperation of travelers in the area and encourages caution when traveling through work zones.
