Starting Monday, June 26, 2017, Cross Construction Company will begin work on the second phase of the City’s annual paving project. This portion of the work will take place on Windsor Road (Briar Hill Drive to Mattis Avenue), Duncan Road (Windsor Road to Stoneybrook Drive), and Mattis Avenue (Windsor Road to 1,000 feet south of the intersection). Work on these streets will consist of milling off the existing asphalt surface, paving two layers of new asphalt, and applying new pavement markings.
Beginning July 5, 2017, Windsor Road between Duncan Road and Mattis Avenue will be closed to through traffic intermittently for approximately 10 days. Windsor Road will be open to traffic when Cross Construction is working on Mattis Avenue and Duncan Road. Significant delays can be expected. Motorists are urged to use the marked detour route or use other City streets to avoid delays.
