As part of the City’s 2017 Concrete Street Improvements Project, the pavement on Southmoor Drive from Rebecca Drive to Brett Drive will be reconstructed. Sidewalk repairs will also be completed as part of the work. The City’s contractor for the project, Otto Baum Company, will begin work; weather permitting, Thursday, June 8, 2017.
Beginning Thursday, June 8, Otto Baum will begin work on sidewalk repairs. Work on reconstruction of the pavement will begin Monday, June 12.
Please pay close attention to construction signs, traffic control devices, and marked detours. Please do not park on the street near the construction site or in areas that are posted “No Parking.” Please proceed cautiously through construction zones and use alternate routes whenever possible. The contractor will attempt to complete construction activities as soon as possible to minimize any inconvenience to the residents in the areas of construction.
