In order to complete repairs to the railroad crossing across Staley Road, Norfolk Southern Railroad will be closing Staley Road about halfway between Cardinal Road and U.S. 150 (Bloomington Road). The closure will begin on Monday, May 22 and will reopen on Friday, May 26, 2017.
Through traffic is advised to follow the marked detour route utilizing U.S. 150 (Bloomington Road), Mattis Avenue, and Bradley Avenue to navigate around the closure. Staley Road north and south of the closure will remain open to local traffic.
